The Penrod/Hiawatha Company of Berrien Springs, Michigan, produces and distributes postcards and other photographic items for tourists. Photographer John Penrod (1930- ) founded the company in 1959 in Berrien Springs when he purchased a small postcard company in the city. Penrod gradually expanded his enterprise by purchasing competing postcard companies including the Hiawatha Card Company, A.E. Luce, L.L.
